I have been scanning ebay for silverado ss wheels. I know ther 20", and I want to lower my truck 2/4. What tire size would be the best, the stock size is 275/55/20, will this work?

    Thanks,
    Randy

Not to sure about the newer ones, but they should fit just fine,
    that size would look nice,

i think i saw some on ebay and on ls1tech in the for sale section, they still might be there.

Ive got the SS wheels on my truck. There is a set on eBay right now!!!! Check it out! If you are gonna lower the truck 2/4 youprobably should go with some 275/45/20's. The 275/55's are gonna be pretty dam tall! From what I was told they might rub with a 2/4. I was gonna get the 275/55's but decided to get something a tad wider and shorter. I got 285/50/20's. Fit with absolutely no troubles. Im happy with them. Cant light them up as easy as the stockers but oh well....

Thanks, I was wondering about the tires. That way when I get ready to buy some I should look for some with tires or without. Thanks for the reply.

The guys at the shop I go to (I know them) said that the biggest tires I could go with when I was gettin my 20s was 275/45. Any bigger and I would rub/have problems...
This is with a 2/4 drop

i like the 275/45's also, not too much meat on the tires.
