Thread: Wheel hop

  1. #1
When i go to the track and start doing my burnout the trucks rear axle will start to hop. So i let go. Then when i stage up and ready to go and the light turns green i floor it and the tires wheel hop alot and i have to let go. I hit a 13.6 last time and i had to let go cause the wheel hop was pretty bad. I was told spring clamps will help me out. Any other suggestions??

Spring clamps might help, but are the cheap way out. You get what you pay for.

Look into Caltracs or something like that.

go to lakewoods website I just ordered a set of truck traction bars for my truck

if you do you with the traction bars make sure the flanges that bolt to the spring are tall enough to clear the axle tube mounted on the bottom of the spring unlike the cars where the rerend is mounted on top
ya I beat the Kodiak by about 1/2 of a track
