Just Water Wetter here. I wouldn't think it would allow you to run more more timing over a lower thermostat (like 160*), but what do I know!!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(2500HD6.0 @ Dec 22 2006, 03:04 AM) </div>I've been running it for 2years. It is supposed to last the life of the veh. It cools the metal much, much more than anything else, although you will see the same temp on the gauge. Hot Rod mag. did a test a year or so ago on a twin turbo ford ranger and was able to extract 70 more horse power by way of more timing and I don't remember what else but this solution nearly prevents detonation. Been working for me for a couple of years now--Allen shipped what he said was the most aggresive tune that he has shipped mail order and no kr at all. Evans is pricey but the only way to go.Evans coolant is waterless and allows you to run more timing (is this true). (- 40 to 375)
