I was looking at both a Silvy and Sierra and noticed one thing. The Sierra had 4 wheel discs while the Silvy did not. The Sierra was also a VHO, so maybe 4 wheel disc brakes are an option

yeah you know what ? when i saw the new silvy at the dealership mon. it had the drum brake dynamic rear like in my 05. i was like you mean they are making drum brakes on a 30000 truck in the 07? i was sort of pissed when i found out my truck was drum rear. my 02 f-150 xlt with a 4.2l v6 had 4 wheel discs!

I know how you feel. When I noticed the old man's truck had dumb (drum) brakes on the back, I was like WTF? is going on here.

my guess would be costs, but other than that i see no reason why theyd have drums on the rear. mine have drums on the rear, and id like to have disc, but dont need them that bad!
