    It's finally getting there!

Last night was a good night to run, cool and low humidity.

Best run of the night was:

    reaction: .5142
    60ft: 2.1092
    1/8 et: 8.838
    1/8mph: 81.49mph
    1000et: 11.4351
    1/4et: 13.67
    1/4mph: 100.00

But, get this, I let my brother drive for the first time and he busted out a 13.74 with my big ass in it! As he was driving, I increased the timing in the upper rpms, it responded well!!!
Then, I decided to run it myself and increase the timing while driving, the burn out was good, then as I was staging, I was boosting it up, and the operator told me to stop, he said "you're leaking trans oil" I was thinking bs.
I pulled it off the track and the truck was completely dry, no leaks at all, trans temp was at 145deg.
So that sucked, I bet it would have been a good 13.4 run. Because I know for a fact, with me in it or another person, I loose 3-4tenths down the track.

I'm very happy with this time, it's still at 5psi and I'm not turning it up until I get a 13.3 w/ 5psi.

bud8fan, come and get me, hahahah,

    allen

Allen, what's the weight of the Avalanche? I'd love to go with an STS in my truck but I'd also like an LS7 for $12,000. Maybe next year if I'm lucky. I'm sure you weigh more than my 4950 lbs so you're kickin ass with those times if you're in the 6 to 7000 lb range. As soon as I get my slicks I'm going to meet with VV8 again and see what we can do for improvement. Awsome numbers!!!!
