    Hey does any one know if the 2001 GMC truck head lights work off of a ground side switch or power side? I would like to put some wig wag police lights on my truck.

    the headlamp switch on a 01 switches power to the headlamp relay. its a power switch.
    38" swampers, 350 tbi, 14 bolt rear, 10 bolt front

    The switch just supplies control voltage to trip the relays located in the underhood fuse box.
    maybe you can access what you need there.
