    well, my wife new motor for her 86' is coming along. it's at the machine shop right now. im hoping for this to me a fast motor which it should for the amount i've been putting into it.
    so far this is the list of parts:

    010 4-bolt main block
    summit rebuild kit
    summit h-beam rods
    trw forged pistons
    5140 forged crank
    sfi fly wheel
    sfi dampner
    trick flow twisted wedge aluminum heads w/ 2.02 1.60
    trick flow cam to match heads
    crane lifters
    weiand manifold
    barry grant 650 carb
    700-r4 built for 800 horse
    2800 stall
    msd 6AL
    msd billet distributor

    Very nice, I am sure she will like it when it is done.
    I had an 83 Berlinetta Camaro with the 305 as my first car, I thought it was fast back then.
