Thread: convert to carburetor?

    ive thought about converting from fuel injection to carburetor... what do ya'll think and how much is it?

    i wanna make it rumble... thats about it. its never been in serious consideration, just curious bout the price/process.

    Man if you want rumble put a cam in it with like a 112 LSA. That will rumble plenty. The best thing about the FI in these trucks is that you can tune them for anything and not have to mess with jetting.

    But if you really wanted to do it I know you would need a new intake manifold, the carb, and at least computer work.

    yeah, ur def right on that one. cams arent that expensive, the costly part is putting them in though cause u have to take so much apart. how much would that run?

    OK cam $150-250 valvesprings $125 Tune (by Allen) $400 then if you want someone else to install it what ever they charge.
