Walters OK. cruise

Well I didn't get to race the Lightening but I raced his Stain. He actually got the win light but my e.t. was quicker. I took my slicks but I was taking them out to put em in a buddies truck so I could cruise and... ssssssssssssss. I'm like WTF and look down to see a screw the size of my pinkie finger sticking out of my tire. Apparently when I rolled it out of the bed of my truck that screw was there to greet it. What are the odds???!!! Anyway we go to the Sooner Motorplex afterwards and my first pass I line up with the stain. I wheel hopped so bad during my burn out that it ariated the fuel in my tank enough that the pump lost prime and died and barely started back. I make it up to the tree and it was more of the same, I wheel hopped and spun off the line and had to pedal it. Ended up running an 8.90 to his 8.92. Every pass after that got worse finally climaxing with me spinning both back tires after my 1-2 shift the rest of the way down the track! It was the most rediculous thing I have ever experienced. My truck was actually wheel hopping and spinning at over 70 mph!!! The track is all concrete and sorta washboarded and slicker than shit. An altered lost it and I thought it was gonna come off the track right into us at 100 + mph. That track SUCKS! But what can you expect with a name like sooner motorplex? I'll never go back.

damn man that does suck about the tire. but at least you got the stain, and i hope the guy with the lightning was there to watch you do it WHILE you wheel hopped down the track.

The guy with the stain is the the guy with the lightening. He brought both, but didn&#39;t want to pay to run both and he wanted to run the stain. He did actually show me a timeslip with an 8.59 on it, which he says was from his lightening.
