Dodge Hemi Charger

Well I was behind him at a red light, when he takes off, I had to play catch up but did to my surprise, as we come around the corner at 70 mph we both punch it and he gets the jump but I real him in and pass him, we come up to a red light and he asked what I had in the truck, told him 5.3 with a cam and bolt-ons, he had the superchips programmer and a hot girlfriend, well we take off slowly and I hear him punch it as I did right after him and by the end of first I was 1 truck lenght ahead and by the top of second 3-4 trucks ahead as he turns into his subdivision, very cool guy with a hot girlfriend, and both were very surprised lol.


Oh yeah full street trim and 3/4 tank of gas.

vv8 - was it the SRT-8 or the Charger R/T. The Charger R/T gets 1/4 in about 14 range. The SRT-8 gets it in 13.4 range. You'd stomp either with your trap time though, but yep, I'd guess they were like .... huh? Good kill.

I gotta admit, I'd love for you to take a look at my truck and tell me what's wrong. I'd like to think I was able to give you some competition, but 13.8/14.0 is about where I think I am.

I lined up aganst a R/T one time and smoked him off the line. Then a dumbass ran a light and I had to slam on the brakes. A little teenage girl was drving it with some friends. They waved as iff they had beat me. But I never got a chance to run them again. Thanks to the dumbas who ran the light, or I would have had them! :flipoff:

Man...funny you should post up about a charger I ran one on the way to work yesterday from about 65 is where I punched it. He was running about 70-75 as he was trying to pass and I waited till I could see him pull out in the other lane. I actually thought he was going to take me but surprized the shit outta him when I left him at about 95 and he had to get back in behind me hahaha...LOL We hit traffic and he made a desperate attempt to pass almost clipping a bike in front of me and also almost running the oncoming car off the road so I let him go. The guy on the bike was even shaking his head at him once he passed. The truck hasn't been running to good lately either so that's what surprized me too...Zed

I raced one of these cars on the highway from a 50mph punch, no competition at all, pulled him easily in the GTO!

Yeah - the R/T class of Dodge is not impressive to me. SRTs - well they&#39;re another story - at least for me. But hey, 6.1ltr against my 5.7 and I still make &#39;em sweat - I&#39;m okay with that. A few more ponies and they smile is gonna turn into "???" - lol

Yeah old folks are the only folks I really have been seeing driving them. Anyone I try to race wont go. And they know they could probably beat my truck, so I dunno what their issue is. Wusses.
