Well this sucks.

I had to get the truck towed in to work today. It wouldnt start up. It started and ran for a half second. Then died. Then the starter didnt have enough juice to start over. The battery didnt have enough in it, drained quick. So I jump it. It started but will not idle what so ever. So I get it towed for free with the roadside service i have for a year. And after waiting untill after lunch time. I go with one of the mechanics. Thinking it was something serious. We check the battery, leaking bad on the positive. Clean it up, get new battery and runs fine. Its a good fix, but just totally pissed me off this morning when I thought it was something serious. Paid 82 bucks for acdelco battery from work, and 25 for the labor that I could of done at home. Atleast it wasnt a serious fix that I needed.

thats messed up man.. i would be pissed too. you kinda would rather have something bad happen soemtimes. when its something like a fuse and you get towed and all that. and $3 bucks fixes your truck you be like

The towing was free atleast with the free roadside assistance for a year deal I got from when I bought the truck. I could of saved the 25 bucks for labor though if I knew it was the battery at the time.

glad it was simple stumpy! those a/c delco batteries are the next best thing to the optimas IMO, I had great luck with both!

Yeah both of those batteries are awesome. I have jumped so many people with my optima and its been the quickest jumps i have ever had to do.

Optimas are the best battery I have ever had any experience with. Mine was like &#036;180 tax and everything, and it really shows it&#39;s power when u jump someone off&#33; definetly worth the extra &#036;&#036;
