    tuning

    just got my efi live set up and curious if anyone wants to give me a hand so I dont mess this up. First time tuning with this setup have done many handhelds but this is a lil more intense. and good pointers on starting???

    If you have a good trans then remove all torque reduction. Quicken up the shifts. You can add some timing as long as you run god fuel, and scan and make sure your not getting knock. Fuel/air tables would be next, but you need to read read read. Best of luck lots to learn. No shortcuts to be had.

    The absolute best advice I can give you? Know how an engine works, and what they like. I mean a lot deeper than just knowing the 4 strokes. Get deep into it. And second of all, find someone who really knows what they're doing that can mentor you through it. I know enough to get myself in trouble. I'll fine tune mine here and there for the weather and different amounts of n2o, other than that I don't touch it. When my dad asked me to do his 2011, I asked George to do it simply because Gen IV and the 6l90e is a completely new platform to me.
