I actually got them done last night, just getting some time to post up.

The passenger side came out just like the drivers side. I didn't have to worry about the steering column though. Looks like it'll be pretty easy to route the 3" exhaust along the engine as well with the header clearance, at least on the passenger side. I'll have to run the exhaust outside the frame on the drivers side though.
I temporarily installed the header collectors so that I could use them as a guide for routing the tubing.
I'll remove those and merge all of the header pipes together so that they'll fit in a 3" pipe.

Just for fun, I tack welded a u-bend to the collector and mounted the turbo. A little too far forward, but when I'm done, it'll be closer to the engine. Looks pretty cool! I can't wait to finish this thing.
I hope to get about 800hp from the engine with a reasonable amount of boost. That should push this truck into the 9's. I guess we'll see lol.

that looks really clean. was it hard to get the pipe bent like you wanted it so it cleared each other?

Man you are making me want a front mount even more! I was trying to get a race on the way back from SA last night, but no takers! Still I managed to smoke off about 10K miles from my tires.

Well let's do it, hehehe. You already have a decent turbo for your engine, we can move it to the front if you'd like. If we had all the materials here, I can build the headers in less than a day. Then you can bolt your stock manifolds back on and do stage1,2,3 a little bit at a time. I know I can't wait to get mine going, I have the fever again, hahah.

Ya bud8fan, it's been a long time, hopefully within a month I'll be able to start it.

thanks guys,
