Is that really even a question...if the car style intake was better they would have put it on the ls2 in the TBSS but with the extra weight you need the longer runners. That's why the trucks have long runner intakes as well.

I think they're so close for most applications that is doesn't matter.
If everything was as equal as possible and all the other systems on the truck were optimized to make it worth choosing the car intake, then i'd pick the car intake.
The car intake was obviously designed to peak at a higher rpm.
Otherwise, i'd just turbocharge it lol.

I agree with the car intake looking much nicer... but has anyone tried both intakes, or favor one over the other?

Any ways totally off topic...I just got offered a TBSS intake for $100, or $375 for TB,Rails, injectors and intake....Worth it???? I have a LS6 intake already in use, just exploring other options

A ls2 car intake will lose power they choke engine just go with a tbss/nbss intake.
But is the intake worth $100 bare, or just buy complete for $375 and part out the stuff I dont need

Well for $375 you could use the rails and injectors depending on how much fuel youre going to need. Sell the TB unless you are going with a DBW and recoup some of the money needed to buy a 90mm TB.
