There's to many mosquitoes down here in Mississippi for me to bow hunt. It don't matter how much mosquito spray you put on, those swamp skeeters will tear that ass up! There's been a ton of west Niles in my county too.

Tried that during turkey season ! I'm right beside the river and a swamp. Mosquitoes so big they had ticks on them! Couldn't even breathe without breathing in those bastards. I wish the season would open a month later and close a month later. It would be much better weather during bow season, and the end of the season would time the rut a little better. Usually by the time the rut is in full swing the season is closing.

I shot a doe on the first about 7:00. Pretty sure it was probably one of the first deer killed in Oklahoma, legally that is.
