    first year back bow hunting after almost 2 years of not being able to hunt cause of work

    Tried that during turkey season ! I'm right beside the river and a swamp. Mosquitoes so big they had ticks on them! Couldn't even breathe without breathing in those bastards. I wish the season would open a month later and close a month later. It would be much better weather during bow season, and the end of the season would time the rut a little better. Usually by the time the rut is in full swing the season is closing.

    I shot a doe on the first about 7:00. Pretty sure it was probably one of the first deer killed in Oklahoma, legally that is.
