    Header issue

I recently bought a set of long tube Pacesetter Headers. Ran into issue while removing stock y-pipe. drivers side 3 bolt flange at stock y-pipe and manifold now has one stripped bolt when trying to remove. I tried to used craftsman stripped bolt remover but just suceeded in making bolt rounder.
Thinking to continue on to remove manifolds. If I can get them off without further issue then just going to cut stock y-pipe near drivers side flange so I can drop out drivers side manifold.
Does anyone have a better idea?

That's how I always remove them. It's very very rare that someone wants to buy a stock y pipe. I always just cut the pipe as close as I can to the manifold and pull it out

exactly. If all goes right I'm never going to use it again and don't think anyone would buy. Just got to make sure everything else comes off without issue before I cut and have bigger issues. I can't get back on it till Sun. due to my work schedule this week.

In my opinion best mod ever. Weve got 2 trucks tuned by nelson, one n/a cammed and one forced induction and they both run like bats outta hell.
