    2001 tahoe stepper switches

    does anyone here happen to know what the part number for the stepper switches in the instrument cluster is? i had my dad to a sweep test using the techII at the GMC dealership that he works at and my gauges failed the sweep check. thanks guys

    GM does not have a part number. Switec part number is X25168

    I thought those were for the 03+ clusters. Did GM use the same ones from 99 and up?

    Shoot didn't read the year! You can buy a used cluster, transfer front half of cluster to yours. Mileage remains the same.

    Well I guess its a good thing that clusters on Ebay can be had for less than $60. So all I have to do is replace the gauge face and I should be good? So I take it GM didn't use stepper switches on the 99-02 clusters

    i never could find replacement steppers for the 99-02.
