    bottom end lag

Hey guys, I have an 02 2500hd, 6.0, headers, cai, egr delete, 212/212 114lsa cam, nelson tune, new oem plugs, msd wires. Here's the thing, i drive nearly the same truck for work, just minus all my extras and the thing pulls good down bottom, mine is really slow until you hit like 25mph and then pulls really hard. I have had some people say that it's my cam but it cant be since it was doing it before i installed the cam, once i installed the cam it has really brought it to life after about 3400, i know i need a stall but why does my work truck pull sooo much harder down bottom? My question is, how can i find what's causing my lag? about a yr ago i threw some knock sensor codes, and before i had a chance to replace them the codes went away And i cleared the memory and they haven't come back... i have checked my fuel press. At idle and its at about 52psi, dont know what its at under load. any ideas anyone? Please? Really debating selling the truck the way it is if i cant get rid of this lag, it feels like im trying to pull something until about 25 and then it lets loose and rips... If i dont hold it to the floor it seems to pull better actually...

Its the torque management. The way Nelson sets it up saves the stock transmissions when you have performance modifications. Mine used to be that way from a previous tuner, until I found a good tuner and had my transmission refreshed.

What they say and do are two different things. And you can't tell for sure because he locks the pcm. There are other things in the tune that affect when the power comes in.

A more logical explanation would be that work truck has lower gears. If NP tells you they removed TM it's probably gone. Duct tape any reason why you think they lie?

I didn't say they lied to him, but you cannot be certain that all the TM is removed because the PCM is locked. You can only take their word for it. There are many different things that relate to TM and when power "turns on." I've had a NP tune along with another members tune and I experienced the same issue the OP is having. With my current tuner there is no lag, just roasting tires.

I like to lie about what I tune for. It's just fun.

Hey snowboardman, shoot me an email or pm with all your mods and contect info and we can see if we can get more lowend timing for ur truck. The TM is where you requested so no worried there.
If there's anyway you can get some scans going thatll help.

I knew this would happen. Not saying you lied. There are other people that I have talked to with the same lowend "lag" and you're their tuner. You have not done me wrong in anyway, but I have learned that you can't trust many people anymore. After I switched to a more local tuner I never had that lag.

They are locked for a reason so that way "so called tuners" can't them up like they always do
