    what else would i need , can i use the original computer
    00 silverado 5.3, 2005 caddy clip,mods asp pulley,e-fans,3.73s,custom intake,jba shorties,hypertech=14.9@95

    You could actually do a straight swap and fire it up. Granted to get it to work top notch you will need a tune from Allen. It is not very hard seeing how you have a 5.3 in there now.

    The motors just swap. At least mine did. (grin)
    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    I have been back and forth whether to do a 5.3>6.0 swap or a STS turbo install. I was wondering the same thing if I needed a new CPU or not. Thanks for the info.

    01,Z71 Victory Red, sportside,5.3L, Flowmaster 40&#39;s, K&N Drop In, Airaid MIT Tube, TB bypass, Nelson Performance Hot Tune. Velocity Stack waste of money.

    Working to run with the BIG DOGS, tired of the porch. STS or LQ9 in the future.

    i say just do both&#33; ooooohhhhhhhh yeah
    2001 GMC Sierra C3 with the 6.0&#33; Vararam King Cobra, TB bypass, No cats with two 3 inch cut outs and thats it for the motor. FOR NOW ATLEAST&#33;&#33;
