    Are Gears Worth The money

    I had 323 possy and swapped to a 342 1tf rear end. Next week i am Ordering 430's and a locker. Are they really worth the money will i notice much change. a few people i have talked to said they will make my truck seem slower?

    The people that tell you foolish things like that should be drop kicked. You will need a retune for the gears, but if you ever cam and stall it, its going to be a monster. Regardless, the gears will help.

    Thanks man. i was just thinking with all the people that told me that to get something else but i think i will be happy with the gears and locker..

    Back when I was stock, I went from 323s to 410s, it felt like I gained more with them then a cam

    Gears are one of the most important parts of every build. I have rcsb with 4.8 265 70 r20 went from 342's to 410's. I was very pleased with the results. If I ever have to do it again I'm going 456's
