SFA swap would net a better offroad suspension for the front but knocks on the fuel mileage. You can swap what ever axle you want to the rear whether it be from a volkswagon or a school bus. I've grenaded 3/4 ton parts in an IFS kit just as fast as I did 1/2 ton so I wouldn't look at this swap just for strength purposes on the front end. Truck does look good though.
