There are a LOT of people that run Trail Grapplers and I have never once heard of the problems you're talking about. I've put >7,500 miles on mine and they haven't begun to wear. BFGs are a decent tire but are incredibly overpriced IMO. That, and the KM2s are hideous.

I had the trail grapplers on my truck and had like 30k+ on mine with over 1/2 tread left. No chunks missing and i never had time to rebalance or rotate. Best M/T ive ever seen and ill def. buy them again. As far as not getting much mileage out of them are you sure your talking about the trail grappler and no the mud grappler

Yeah that is the tire but maybe they have improved this was a few years back but for me when I see somewhat of tren I don't go with a second try. But maybe they are better now?? BFG's may be overpriced but I think you get what you pay for in most cases. I never have a had a blow out with one they always had the least amounts of blow outs if I ever saw any then most tires. I agree BFG should of kept the original Mud tires. But I hunt almost year around and go from desert to high mountain and they have my full confidence.

Good luck with them, good to see they maybe a potenial next set.

Had the Trail Graps on my dmax and have them on my Jeep Wrangler, they are awesome mud tires when considering wear and noise. They are heavy, but what mud tire isn't. I have run many mud tires on many different trucks and I love mine.
