Which Intake and Throttle Body to Run?

Just wondering which intake you guys think is the best out there. Im putting a 04 ls6 in a 85 c10 and I only have a longblock. Just trying to weight my options. Also looking for a drive by cable throttle body. Not sure which is the best.

Depends on what youre using it for, if youre gonna be running out on the highway or at high rpms or is it gonna be used for a show truck, id say the ls1, but there really isnt anything wrong with running a newer truck intake, like the 87mm they flow good and dont cost an arm and leg, but niether do ls1 intakes.

Im building a show truck that will be driven often. I want plenty of power, looking to get around 450 horse. This is my first ls conversion and cost is really not an issue. I have reaaly been thinking of going with the FAST intake and throttle body, but I have no experiance with them. I want to get the most power available. Thanks guys

Vic JR FTW! And the edelbrock TBs are pretty decent but a Nick Williams 102 is just beautiful! Here is mine, although its a l92vic JR looks the same as the normal one, my TB is also a dbw but the cable driven ones are just as nice, you can get them from Henson. The elbow is made by DBRods from this site and there's lots of other places that make custom elbows

Aesthetically it's hard to beat a car intake or a FAST. The truck intakes are god awful ugly.
