Fastest N/A LS-based truck (5.3,5.7,6.0)?

80 lbs. each!!!! WOW! that is really F-ing heavy. I have some 8" wide truck rally wheels off of an 80's model truck. Right after I posted up earlier I went down to some local roundy rounders shop that has a bunch of slicks piled up, they said I could have whatever I wanted, I found 2 BFG 26.5X10 15's that have a few runs left on em so I'm gonna give em a try Saturday.

damn that is light, mine weigh in at 55lbs each with the slicks. Tiime to get rid of the chrome 4.8 rims and get me some stock 5.3 rims.

A stock camaro weighs about 3600 lbs these trucks are weighing over 4000 lbs, like cajun said they are a lot less aerodynamic, and they are giving up around 21 c.i., and remember my own truck weighs about the same as theirs(4190) with a similarly modded LS1 and they are running over 8 tenths of a sec. faster in the 1/8th mile than me. I am a regular at the drag strip, I pay attention to alot of street cars & their E.T., it is baffling to me how these two trucks are able to run such impressive times with such little modifications. Now don&#39;t get me wrong, I&#39;m not saying they aren&#39;t doing it, but I would just like to see it for myself.

Hey Guys...Motoxlifer and bluecajun5.3 - don&#39;t get me wrong - I mean, heck, I&#39;m the one who posted the thread about bluecajun5.3&#39;s video showing he did it. No disrespect here......come on&#33;&#33;&#33; I&#39;m not saying I&#39;m NOT impressed, heck, I&#39;ve already given bluecajun5.3 props on this board and one (not sure if anyone else did), but asked him what his setup was.

My point, these trucks are the baddest, which is also why I started this thread....to see who was the baddest N/A trucks on this board.

My point was just as I stated, I can believe they&#39;re doing what they claim cause I&#39;ve seen it, unless bluecajun5.3 is one heck of a movie editor

I know with my truck and its setup weighing in at over 4600lbs (with the fata&#036;&#036 driver in it. I&#39;d live to see my truck putting these numbers down, but don&#39;t expect it (unless I could ever afford NOS, turbo or S/C) - even then ... he he - I wouldn&#39;t be able to say its N/A and be proud of it like bluecajun5.3....and he should rightly be proud. Any P/U that can give a Vette a run for its money....I&#39;d be proud to own.
