i run in auto, this allows you to launch with 4 wheels then it becomes 2wd later on

running two different sizes tires will screw the abs up and confuse the truck, not mentioned youll need to readjust the tables in the tune for the smaler tires or the 6l90 wont shift right!!!!
Is this the same with a 2wd with the 6l80? if i put a set of 28" slicks it wont shift the same?

Ya no trans shifts at right rpm unless adjusted... Sucks unless you own hptuners...

He may be about to get away with a same size as slick street tire up front... I rock four spares and hook great...

I can adjust shift points and tire size myself. I own hptuners. The 4x4 kills the top end terribly.

I used to have a 4x4 tacoma with the 3.4 v6 and 5 speed. Used toleave the hubs locked and ride around racing v6 comaros and mustanks from red light to red light and when I shifted into second I wouls push it into 2hi and when I clutched it to go to third it would disengage. The ole truck used to rape the women and kill the children!

Not sure how that is relevant in this situation in any way at all, but thanks for sharing that amazing story.
