Im getting ready to do this swap, and trying to get up my parts list to have everything I need once I tackle this thing. Does anyone know of a cheaper way of doing the fuel lines from my stock 94 hard lines to the fuel rail of the LS motor? I like the looks of the braided stainless hoses, but I am on a really tight budget. So, anyone know of a cheaper way than doing it in the braided stainless?
i just cut and flared my stock aluminum lines and pushed on hose, also just pushed hose on the fuel rail at first. use fuel injection hose and double hose clamps, should be fine. my local ace hardware had the high pressure fuel line in bulk, it was cheap

I realize that. But there is like a 40 dollar difference in price
It's worth the 40 bucks that adjustability might save you money on other stuff like a stock driveshaft vs a custom one.

you shouldnt do the swap since it sounds like your on a really tight budget, its gonna take some cash. I bought transdapt adapters and didnt work for my LS swap ended up spending more then i had to due to those mounts. like kerrige said the extra $40 could save you money futher in the swap.

I used the -1 mounts off eBay that were $45 shipped. Had to trim the edges down to make them work.
I used the trans dapt mounts only problem I had was the bottom holes were to far from the top, I just drill the bottom holes bigger now they fit fine. I have the trans that came with the 4.8 and the mounts set it back about an inch and the stock Burbon driveshaft fits great. Oh and paint was crap a little rattle can can fix that. As for the fuel lines I'm using this guys idea www.ls1truck.com/forums/238259-post16.html, uses dorman 800-078 + 800-058 = 3/8 line and 800-079 + 800-057 = 5/16 line got it from amazon with free shipping for about 40 bucks.
