    470whp honda civic hatchback seeyabye

well this is not my truck and i realize its a TRUCK forum, but be patient, in time i plan on similar slaughterings in the truck! I just want to start participating a little here.

These were like 40 roll kicks. I raced this guy about 10 times from every speed possible. Most of the races did not even look like races, but after a while i just sat at partial throttle till the guy stopped spinning his tires and started to actually pull or get into boost or whatever the hell was going on. Some of these races look kinda close, but i can ensure you, they were NOT, i just lifted when i started to freight train the guy. lol.. Trying to get some more video, but never seems to happen when i have gear with me. Either way here is my attempt at participating here.

My car is 3300lbs and 473whp/459wtq here on worn out 275 nitto drag radials with about 25psi in them. The civic is entirely gutted and made 470whp on a dynapack dyno and is a bensons sleeved b16a (twin cam 1.6 vtec from a del sol dohc vtec model) with a custom full race turbo kit and 60-1 t3/t4.

This is just another video a friend and i threw together. As soon as the truck is done, i will have extremely professional videos of it more than likely blowing 33 inch tall tires off smoking riceboys as well. haha...

exactly. I think they dont comprehend the torque. I mean i know they may make the same power at a fraction of the weight, but those things dont make any torque. Torque is what gets you going.

whats the deal with your car?

theres a "500hp" civic around here, but its weird that every time ive seen him at the track he runs 12's... but then a good friend of mine had a 440hp (now around 800-900) that ran mid 10's

    I also have a buddy with a decently fast civic..it made 560hp out of a 1.8l dohc vtec,full race turbo..it was in a loaded civic coupe..full interior,p/w,p/l sun roof and roll cage..it went consistent 10.30@ 140 mph..think it's all about the tune..maybe driver also

i think alot of those tuner guys run to big of turbos and they end up having so much lag they just suck. they might make good power on a dyno but everytime they shift it takes a sec to get back into the boost
