need some help with a fuel filter

    Hello everyone,
I am working on my fathers 03 yukon, trying to replace the fuel filter, and i am sure this is not a new problem but i cant get the hose disconnect tool into the out tube on the old filter, is there some tricks i am missing or do i need to just take it in to the dealership. thanks for the help.

Must be a flex fuel. The filters were made with the fitting so short that the hose is too close to the body and you can't use the normal tool. Go to a parts store and look for a disconnect tool from Lisle made specifically for this problem. It is a small black handle with 2 inserts tool so you can get it in there.
Lisle 35000 is the part number

The wix replacement filters do not have this problem.
