If all u change are hot pipes it will not be much of 10 up or down of where u are now........ and like Allen said.. depends on your IAT sensor location and you have Meth kit anyway so WHO CARES ! Hurry and go front mount !... Allen Claims 100hp Gains over the Trick/KBracing stuff........ Put him to the test....

Where did that come from? I claim 100hp gain using my avalanche going from the rear mount, to my front mount kit, at anytime there was no mention of the kb/trick kit comparison.

I'd like to run an A/W intercooler but the cost is the only thing stopping me. Keeping this intercooler is free. I also plan on relocating the IAT sensor to directly in front of the throttle body, mainly so the ECM will recognize the temp drop when the meth sprays.
I have my IAT sensor at the front of the TB and a Trick FMI a/a. W/O meth kit I ussually saw 115F tops with a 95F ambient temp at 9psi Street Driving. Now with the meth (u help me a lot with this kit installation) (35% meth) with same ambient temp and same boost on the street I see a drop to 86-82F most of the time under boost.
Since Meth comes at 5psi, It first up some degrees and then drops.

Not backing up Quik, but comes to my attention, then when I use pure Avgas 130 I see a 2 degrees drop over normal Pump gas (92 oct). Weird, but is on the logs !!!!!!

That really is wierd. I don't see how the ECM can read the temp drop.

~ Forged engine of some type ~ Ball bearing turbo of an unconfirmed size ~ 4L8000 trans ~ Beefy fuel system ~

    I hear you man.

Could be bcause other variables like more timming, a little richer, more boost, and I only use avgas for racing on 11-12 psi.....don't know the answer for that one, but iat sense that !!!!

EGT temperature changes may have an effect on IAT's. Not sure which grade of avgas fuel you use but it may burn cooler. Alcohol burns a lot cooler. Keeps the turbo cooler so naturally IAT will come down.

Where can you get 130 Avgas? I know an airport before you smart asses chime in. If I remember you aren't in the states, right?

How long before the Avgas trashes your O2 or wideband sensors?

I have a little hangar with 2 flying things in it, in the Intl Airport from the city I live, so from time to time I get some fuel for the truck. I purchase it like if it will go to the crafts, but instead I use it in the truck and the Camaro from time to time.
I buy the one in green, that is suppost to be for the turbo charge and SC planes that the AirForce here have for training (old rigs). They also sale the blue one avgas 100LL but I prefer some lead in my diet.

When I first recive my 408 form Nelson, I had no good tune to part with, so I choose to drive with avgas all the time till the tune got safer. So in that time (a 2 month), and prob a 2000 miles at most, The fuel ate 3 WB O2 sensors. The OEM O2 are long gonne, I have a SD tune.

SO I can tell you that if I daily drive it with AVgas, prob 2 weeks tops will chew a brand new O2 WB.

I got my self like 12 I bougth as spares in my garage.

Now with a safe tune on 9psi on pump gas and meth kit, the O2 WB has last 3 month till now, and still working. Had load the truck with the leaded fuel like 4 times most.
