    Water Pump part no.

    Anyone have a part number for the style of water pump that uses the 2 piece T-STAT? It's not the truck one that uses the single tstat already made in the housing.

    any ls newer then 04 should have that style...i believe
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    Couldn't you just buy a different t-stat housing?

    there are a couple aftermarket ones that will work with old school sbc thermos...but they are kinda big bucks.


    the 04+ had different bolt holes/design to make it work. So you'd need, 04+ pump, housing, stat. not worth it IMO
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
