I know exactly what you are looking for it took me along to find this place they should be able to help you out on the spider injectors here is the link http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/impor...uel-injectors/ and I would definately recommend street and performance electronics manifold spacer to get more air through there, http://www.streetandperformanceelectronics.com/vmax/ but ultimately the marine intake is the way to go for the 4.3!
I would say if I do a V8 swap I will probably do a LS2 or LS3 due to not being able to locate parts to do the swap such as harness and other factory parts propbaly just do after market harness with a 4L65E I wish I could locate all the parts but the salvage yards here suck, I did alot of calling around today with no luck!
Did the research, and now it's a difficult choice. The conventional injectors in the marine version, or the 1" spacer for the ported and polished intake I already have. Since I need to keep the EGR, and since you found injectors, that clinches it, again, much thanks to you.
Man your welcome did they have the bigger spider injectors or what, I am still trying to figure out what I will do with this I have found the engine harnesses on ebay for a little money but if I do the swap I don't want to waist my time on the truck engines I would probably do the 24x LS2 engine I am just wondering how well everything will mesh together I will have to put a manual throttle body and change injector plugs I guess, it will be a little while before I start because I have to get the truck cleaned up and everything fixed I have to change the sending unit tomorrow and remove all the add ons tomorrow in the mean while I will plot and research it all out, any suggestions?
I just did a 4.3L to 5.7L swap in my 2000 Silverado. The swap itself is rather easy, everything drops in and bolts up perfect, no friggin' around with trying to make it fit, as long as you have the V8 mounts it falls in place. I got a PCM from Nelson Performance tuned for my engine. Got a V8 wiring harness out of a 2001 V8 truck. Only thing I had to do is change the injector pigtails for the LS6 injectors.

Man I would love to do that same swap but I really like the thought of a LS3 with a 4L65E with electronic throttle and after market harness (Street and Performance) they said you just have to wire the cruise control knob up the PCM and that's it, I would leave the factory PCM to run minor stuff A/C etc. I drove the truck home last weekend with the 4.3 I got over 400 miles to a tank I wonder how the LS3 would get!
Well I decided to do the factory computer with the swap I got a harness out of a 99 silverado 5.3 got it all pulled and someone had cut the harness going to the oil level, crank sensor, and starter silenoid wire so I got the oil level sensor harness pig tail off e-bay and the crank sensor pigtail harness from oreily's I should be be able to solder a loop for the starter, I also got the fan shroud, upper radiator hose and engine mounts just need the brackets. As far as the engine I will wait until tax return, a 4L65e from daumer powertrain is $1000 and the LS3 or L92 is about $4000 there I am a little concered about using the L92 due to having to swap a bunch of stuff on it for my PCM stupid variable timing, I like the truck engines due to the fuel system and the accessories but I want to start out with something over 400hp!
for what it's worth, i regularly see about 450+ mi per tank & that's with a 5.3 in a 4x4 with 3.73s
heck, i got 22mpg once with the 4.3 before i broke it.
even with the car engine, you'll still wanna use the truck intake because it flows a little better on the bottom end, which would be better for a truck (unless you plan on being like Quik & Spoolin and living around 6000-7000rpm)
as for going F/I on the 4.3, talk to Allen - he's done it a couple times

Update to project I have bought quite a few parts that I needed such as upper radiator hose, motor mounts, motor brackets, 1999 5.3 truck harness, uscar injector pig tails, and much more. I spent last weekend cleaning the harness and using my gm service manual locating and labeling all connectors and fixing some broken wires as well, in addition to that I figured out the 4.3 battery light problem that most of you had with this swap. It is due to earlier 99-02 trucks having one wire alternator plugs and the later models such as my 2001 having 2 wire alternator I figured it out by looking at my 99 harness and reading the gm service manual, my fix, that is run a new wire for my 99 harness to the computer, as far as the engine goes I have done alot of window shopping, the best bang for the buck would be the LQ9 due to fitment issues, however I do not want a used engine and I have located brand new LY6 engines for $2600 the company said they could swap the reluctor wheel and everything else for like $400 and I can hand them an aftermarket cam in the process I will also use an edelbrock 3864 90mm TB with a SLP TB bracket and after reading most of your electric fan conversion problems I have decided to use a manual fan with the V8 fan shroud I purchased!
