Have had the street fighter in my z71 for about an oil change now......its started slippin in over drive, and can not "bite down" near as good as it did when first installed. Had it dyno'd at mayhem motorsports in raleigh this morning....they said just a matter of time for shes done...shoulda got vig. tripple disc...has anyone else experienced similar problems? plus, their warranty sucks. having to pay for mine to be removed, shipped and fixed, and put back in, i want to get it back fixed, sell it, and find a vig in the meantime to put back in. anybody have a decent one for sale on here?

I have had that same convertor in my 460 rwhp tbss for over a year without a single problem.It does need to be tuned so it cant lock up at wot,if you try to lock it you will kill it in short order.

well that makes me feel a little better......it'll be gettin shipped off here within the next week, its quite possible i just received an inferior unit.

ps....what does your flash to? mine isnt to the point where its tottally gone, she'll hit 3.4k give or take a few all day

Around 3500-3800ish on average.

Make sure you have it set up correctly in your tune to not lock up next time. It may have been an inferior unit, but it may have been trying to lock up and burnt itself up too.
