    ANOTHER New Toy

Got this truck off a certain member.... Reason for buying? Sold the lifted 99, GF needs a car, she gets the 04 sierra with that lil magical 4wd button, and i can drive this when done. 2wd in the snow is easy. So now we both have baby haulers without the payment.

2002 Silverado 2wd w/7'' lift, Texas Speed Cam, 3200 stall, 5.3, Camaro Headers, etc....

Hopefully get it back to the shop soon and get started. So here is some before shots.

The camber looks rough....something isn't right there. I have the 'fabtech' install directions, if you want to go through it to see what's up. With the drop-down bracket/spindles, everything should be at a stock angle. My spindles were 3" taller then stock if I recall...almost looks like he has factory set on there. If the lift comes from JUST the drop down/ springs...it's going to ride a little rough and go through ball joints nonstop. That's how the CST lift was (not sure if they've changed it since I was in the market)

I still have a 3" BL and 36's so I'm taller...and the nitrous should keep me faster lol. Body is in much better shape then mine tho.

Drop brackets are rah-tarded. Whats the point of lifting if you lose ground clearance? Same thing with the torsion drop in the 4x4s. Yes you can run bigger tires, but all that stuff hanging down is gonna get caught on something.

I have drop bracket, coils, spindles, and I can easily clear small children. Mine actually arches, so the center is almost at stock location. My rear end however, is only like 6 inches higher then stock (from the tires)

The point of lifting is to add LARGER TIRES so you GAIN ground clearance!
