Unless you have a built tranny I wouldn't recommend removing all of it...Although there is a belief that a tune can't hurt your transmission on this site.

it's hit and miss with the 60e, as far as getting a good one or bad one from GM. we have hundreds of tunes out there belonging to customers that have zero TM in their pcm and their transmissions are holding up.

i guess if a tuner doesn't know what he's doing, i'm sure a tune can mess up a transmission, but installing a servo and removing TM won't hurt one.

Hey I just ordered a pcm from u but if I can come down to san antonio can u retune my truck or is tune u send me going to be the same as in car tune with the
wide band tune. I like the servo idea but my truck is just stock except for ur tune, electric fans with ur harness, and CAI and flowmaster no headers yet.
could I still put a servo on my 2000 Z71

I would also like to jump in here real quick and thank Allen for the re-tunes. I'm @ 4800 ft and have been a bit of a pain in the butt. Thanks Nelson Performance!
