    Power steering fluid

So I've notice some fluid on the underside of the corregated section of my steering rack. I don't see any leaks anywhere but fluid keeps showing up. Any ideas?

mine does the same thing. I don't lose any fluid, not sure if it's from pump overflowing when hot/turning wheel to hard, or the rack seals leaking slightly. As long as you aren't constantly adding fluid, I wouldn't really sweat it.

I've never had to add fluid to it. It doesn't drip, it's just wet.

It is the seal leaking on that side of the rack. I bet the rack boot has quiet a bit in it if you were to take it loose. If it is not dripping and is just wet; I would just spray it off with some brake cleaner at every oil change. However, if it gets worse I would swap out the rack.

Not to bad to swap takes about an hour or two depending on your friends. You have to get an alignment afterwords to get the toe set right.

Any idea how hard it will be to get the tie rods ends out of the spindles?
