i recently did my ls swap n im havin trouble with it idling. it starts ok n then idles at a high speed. wat can be the problem i checked the vacums n seem ok can it be the idle sensor? or sumthing with the PCM? im using a 2003 5.3 intake n a cable throttle.
Check the Idle Air Control solenoid. What year PCM are you using?
Its a 2002 pcm from a silverado 5.3

Have you tried the idle relearn procedure there is a post on here for it. I did it to my truck a few days after the swap because it just didn't want to idle sometimes. Cranks and runs everytime now. Different problem I know but maybe it will help.
im i wanna try the idle learn procedure but im afraid to put it in drive cuz its idling too high. on a cold start it ill idle alright but then the RPMs start to rise
well you know it's something that you can try. Did you try to loosin up the plastic screw holding the cruise cable to the throttle body? A buddy of mine made the mistake of screwing it all the way in
