Ported Throttle Body

I just ordered my S-3 Ported Throttle Body.
Here is a pic of one.Let me now what you think of it.
We put one on a LS1 after a few runs at the track. The car droped 2 10ths
first run after the throtle body swap.
It was 1/8 ml track. It may have done better in the 1/4.
Everybody says you can fill a big difference.

I can,t afford to change all my acc. and buy a FAST intake and 90mm throttle
body. Thats like over a grand set up. Like I've said before, Im cheap.

looks like a good mod man! How much did that throttle body set ya back?

Almost $160 bucks.
After seeing what it would do, I would
have payed alot more for it.
2 or 3 10ths don't sound like much, but
if you go to the track every week and
run a 13.0 . You'd sh$t if you chaged the
throtal body and ran a 12.8.
Now it's worth a $160 bucks right.
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to sell
somthing to any one or make any promises.
I just am all about going faster for as cheap as
I can.

Have you tried one of the ported TB's with any FI? I doubt it would help much with a turbo, but it would be nice if it did.
