    Longtubes+stock muffler,restrictive?

I want to know what yall think about that setup. I'm thinking it is restrictive, or at least it feels like it is. Any input?

The stock muffler is going to restrict it completely. The longtubes can't flow any faster than the muffler lets it.

The stock muffler is less restrictive than a Flowmaster so I dont think you are losing much.

I cant agree with that because Ive seen the inside of a stock muffler and they LOOK very restrictive compared to a flow

I saw a dyno test on a 5.3 were they replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster and lost 3rwhp,cut that off and welded up a Magnaflow and picked up 9rwhp over stock,12 hp over flowmaster.
