S10 Xtreme - 4.3 V6
97 K1500 - 5.7 V8
If not one else has said it first to ya. A 5.3 or 6.0 would be sick in that little truck. But then again I am a fan of v8 swaps in s10s.
This site revolves around ls v8s. Aside from the normal bolt ons the v6s dont see the bang for buck.... You can pick up a motor and wiring harness for pretty cheap swap it in and then you could smoke alot of people with very few upgrades....

Yeah, I've been told that a lot about the 5.3's. I'd just hate to swap since I've just now gotten 70,000mi on the V6.
