See the selection for te UHP's in 18's is pretty garbage. I would have to drop to a 255/55 if I wanted them and I really don't want to go skinnier than a 275.

The Toyo Proxe's are pretty sweet also. I had thought about them but couldn't get a good price quoted for them. I think I was getting quoted in the $170 range per tire. That's $20 more than the BFG's.

I have heard nothing but bad things about Nitto tires...my cousin had them on his truck and they were worn out and showing cords after a year...he put all if 12,000 miles on them.

I am quite interested in the Falkens. I don't know anyone who has run them so I haven gotten any feed back on them.

I run nittos on the dmax and love them they hook up decent (for a moded diesel) and seeing how little traction I get from low rolls they have lasted a while I was expecting to have to replace the rears after 5k miles or so but there holding

if you want a real performance tire in 18" all you can get is a nitto 555r or mickey thompson et street radial. both 305/45-18. around 28.8" tall.

other than that, ive tried the toyos, nitto 420's, uhb's, michelins....they are all junk performance wise. wear and lifespan is between toyo and nitto 420.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

I have run 3-4 sets of the falken st/z 01 and I loved them. They got good traction for a street tire and I got 25-30k of HARD(burnouts, powerslides, ect.) miles out of them.
