    New To The Forum

I am a Chevrolet truck enthusiast. I own a 99' RCSB Z71 and a 79' 4x4. At my full time job I work as a Toyota Automotive Technician. Please, keep the Toyota recall comments to a minimum, however, I will answer any questions through pm. Just checking in and trying to get to know some board members.

I am afraid busy would be an understatement. However, I did get really mad at some silverado ball joints today. There has to be an easier way than a torch and air hammer.

Welcome from AR. As far as I knocked out the originals with the same torch and hammer method.... Too bad they dont just bolt in like most the replacements.

OK OK welcome and I have to comment on the Toyotas. The last prius issues in the news were FAKED by the owners of those cars.

Aint a thing wrong with a Yota car. Every car I rent is a Yota and I have never had a problem in one.
Sorry man I could not help it.

Yea, I have the official Toyota recall release documents that state there were only 19 confirmed cases on camrys and avalons out of the 4.3 million recalled.

The prius burning through the brakes was complete bs. The hybrid uses regenerative braking. It turns off the gas engine and uses the two electric motors to slow down the vehicle. This allows it to charge the batteries when you brake and only uses the hydraulic brake during hard or emergency braking. If it had been a camry the guy in California used for his stunt Toyota would have probably just wrote him a check.

I know I said I was not going there but it happens.
