    Aftermarket heads?

What brands are you using? Would you recommend them to others? Any regrets?
Alot of people just getting 243s worked over...
Some go with company's who CNC port stock castings. PRC, Patriot, etc
Then of course you have the all out companys like dart, trickflow, and afr

They are on the list too. I just wanted to kind of separate the 3 classes of heads first off.
To me you cant compare bang for buck of a set of 300 dollar 243s milled down to match cr to say a set of trick flow heads.
Just wondering what the people using the heads are saying. Ive read a lil bit on the subject and am surprised to see that patriot. Even though extremely cheap has a decent rep. Of course there will always be a number of unsatisfied customers expecting them to perform as good as a TF.

West coast and no others. Why you ask.
See the west coast cylinder head videos.
Then go look at some of NREs builds. If wcch are doing head work for these guys they are where it is at. Also superior customer service.

Depends on your goals and budget. I picked up over 50 hp with some trick flow 225s on my 6.0.

i run TSP l92 heads i will put them against any l92 setup thats equal or closer to mine or even above, that have dart afr tf, tsp used pete's cnc software to do my heads and didnt pay near the price that wcch, afr trick dart cost. BUT i did get hollow stemed valves and a few extra things for the heads. i used to run patroit 5.3 heads which were satisfing for what they were and what they did, its all about what you wanna spend, trust me when i say i can afford any head out there but i wished not to since tsp cnced ported heads matched the others and flowed alittle better. if i was you and you dont have alot of dollars to spend on a NAMED brand head get the 243's but dont go cheap on who ports them.. find a well known porter and go from there
