Will you be performing the work yourself or are you having a shop do it?

I am some what mechanically inclined but never opened an auto tranny. Is it worth trying or should I take it to a shop, I have a trust issue with shops.

My truck started silpping in second two week, its still under warrenty so I took it in and they put a clutch pack kit in it and that didin't fix it so they ended up changing the valve body too. I'm getting it back to day. Its been hell for two weeks cause the clutch went out in my Camaro a two days after the thuck went in. been drivin my hot rod, it sure sucks the gas down haven't driven it this much sence I put in the new engine and trans in it. Two tanks a week ouch, should have put in an over drive.

It drives great! The shifts are firmer and chrisper. Its like having a new truck again. The 1-2 shift is awsome, its like having the tow haul mode on all the time.
