I've been tinkering with the idea of getting a cam for my 5.3, and just wondering what kind of cams are you guys running or recommend, wanna get stall, trans upgrade and cam at the same time though, not really wanting to go FI, maybe some , but i doubt it

    go big or go home.

seriously what are you looking for? torquey? top end? low duration?

futral has been making some good cams lately for the lsx motors, ive always not liked the smaller TR cams for trucks.

i have a FM13 Futral cam( 4 buddies here in town have them) and i love it. 230/232....~.590 lift on a 112.

if you are going to do a cam then you need to figure out the direction in which you are going. if you are goiing to go to an F/I motor then the cam selection will be different. on a F/I cam you want to keep a higher lsa and a lower duration. if you are going to stay with a N/A app then you want a lower lsa to create a ventury effect. as for the stall. that will also play a role in it/

Thats not a little cam by any means. Damn its huge. That sounds like something I heard in a WS6 (I think his was a Comp and not all the exact numbers but close) and it was the meanest sounding cam I have ever heard.
