    Just in case it might mean something someday...
    99 BCM's can only be re-programmed by the dealer for
    1) auto-lock at 15mph & no un-lock, or
    2) no lock, no unlock.
    Having to unlock the door to get out was such a pain, I saved the $75.00 (lowest dealer fee quoted) and had a keyless entry/remote start installed for $250, and now have unlock-on-key-off programmed right in.
    ...me happy driver now.
