Horsepower and Torque is nothing without Traction
Not sure here if you want to replace your stock unit or supplement it
Anyhow, you got a pretty big field to pick from. The B&M #70264 is a pretty popular choice. It's a complete kit and uses barb type fittings. B&M also makes them w/ AN type fittings if you prefer that. Some others are Derale, ATI, Be Cool. You can even get then with a small pusher fan, which is pretty trick.
Whatever way you decide to go, make sure it has a low pressure drop capability.
Hope this helps.

im thinkin i should go big so when/if i ever get a 3000 stall i wont have to do it again. i was guna order the b&m last week but then i checked the tires on my truck and figured out really quick what my next mod isfor some reason new tires isnt as exciting as a bolt on or looks upgrade
I can't remember exactley what size my B&M cooler is but i know its the ones that they have available for RV"s I wanted the biggest one I could fine, and I mounted it in the front of the radiator behind me bowtie. Looks pretty cool and it gets alot of air, you will fill more comfortable with the added insurance of the big tranny cooler.

Hmmm. I like that thermostat bypass deal w/ the Tru-Cool. The B&M doesn't have that, and that sucker has alot more surface area than the B&M.Originally posted by bud8fan+Aug 11 2005, 09:17 AM--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bud8fan @ Aug 11 2005, 09:17 AM)</div><!--QuoteBegin-TXsilveradoit's a big un!! but they do have smaller ones on the site...i started to go with na smaller one but since i dont have a tranny temp guage i figured i should go big and dont worry bout it....im gonna take the tranny completely off the radiator...the cooler has a thermostat to keep it warm...@Aug 11 2005, 07:51 AM
