I just had my truck tuned with HP Tuner. Couple days afterwards the tranny quick shifted hard to second then real quick to third with hardly no throttle. Then i don't have overdrive, it won't shift down to second by itself, and no first whatsoever.Cut the truck off, crank her up and she's back to normal.
Any ideas?

computer may have been "learning" or possible safe mode. not sure though

Hmm... I don't know. See we pull a boat and it aint good to be starting on a hill in second, much less 3rd sometimes. Get tired of cutting the truck on and off.

What changes were made in Hp Tuners to the tune or trans?
07 ECSB 5.3 , Corsa Sport Exhaust , Magnaflow Catted Y-pipe, SLP Cold Air Intake , Corvette Servo, Tinted taillights , HP tuners Debadged
If the tranny overheats it will put itself in safe mode sometimes and be hung in 3rd. Unhook the battery for a min or two. That will clear the code

For normal driving he just increased pressure very little.
Tow/haul he left 25% TM and increased line pressure a little more. Just a medium tune on the motor though.
How does this abuse mode work?
