how about you give me the 5.3 + $1500 and you get a brand new LQ9 at your door. and I mean complete! we are talking injectors to oil pan. ONLY thing it doesn't have is an oil cap (its taped off)

I think I'm gonna tell him, 5.3 plus $1000. The other $500 will go towards my fuel/expenses.
That's probably a good deal for a brand new motor.
After tax I paid more than $1500 for mine with 9K miles.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

You put the gas, some snacks, and some driving on a weekend and I got the radar unit to go half way.....
I wouldnt take that deal personally! Keep looking 6.0's are abundant right now and why get rid of the 5.3 you never know when youll need it!
