Not sure why you need to swap the pan as I thought they had the same one 2WD or 4WD (could be wrong). I'd swap the whole intake so all the bosses are there.

What kinda of exhaust system, etc. do you have? This makes a big difference on the power output as does the dyno and the tune.

Should come in around 320-330 with supporting mods.

gonna run pacestter lontubes with offroad y pipe and probably 3 inch single pipe with a flowmaster all the way back.the pans i was just guessing cause on the old body style they were different on 2 and 4 wheel.so you say just swap the 5.3 intake should i use the 6.o injectors or are they the same also.

so now im wondering if could go with this cam and throw the l92 heads and intake onto this motor if i would make more power and torque over the factory 6.0l stuff or would the gains be minimal and not worth the cost.ive already purchased the cam and springs so im gonna use them but if the newer heads will benifit enough from a small cam like the one i have i would put out the extra cost.what do u guys think.also what you think about porting either set of heads have a local guy that does them fair priced and did a great job for my friends carbed 6.0l!sorry so many question but im gettin itchy got the motor in the garage what to throw the parts at it and wanna do this once and do it right.
