Not sure exactly where to post, but I'm here, so its going here. For now.
I wondering the easiest way to gut my cats. I don't have a welding machine, or it would be too easy. Anyway, I had a 96 I did by cutting off one cat and rodding them out. iwas looking for an easier way on my 2000. Thanks for the help.

Man just cut them off altogether if you dont have visual emissions testing in your area. Mine are gone and have had no problems at all.

Ahh, can you call the shop and ask, if they do not do a visual just put straight pipes in there! I have never gutted cats so I cant help you out on how to gut them.

white1 ..... I got a pair off my 2004 swap that I have already gutted and tig welded back together. If you have access to a muffler shop that will swap them out for ya you can have them for FREE if you cover the shipping. Here are some shots of them. Let me know.

the best way is to cut your exaust behind the cats . then take a crow bar and a hammer and chisle it out . your ses light will come on eventualy. so u need a set of after
cat sims . they run about $100 from jegs .
